I don't do video
I don’t do video.
Ask anyone who works with me. I’m a print and web guy. Timelines and keyframes are not my world.
But I wanted an animated product demo for AI4Love.
So I built it. In Terminal.
You read that right.
Using Claude and Remotion, I developed the script, wrote the animation in React, edited in Chrome. No After Effects. No Premiere. No motion design background. No timeline to scrub. Just code, a browser preview, and iteration.
The result is a structured product demo. Scenes, transitions, motion, timing.
What gets me is the path.
- A Terminal session.
- A conversation with an AI.
- A rendered video file at the end.
The demo itself is for AI4Love, a relationship intelligence platform I’m building for nonprofits. So there’s a real product behind it worth showing.
But the process is what I keep thinking about.
A year ago this demo wouldn’t exist because I couldn’t have made it. Now it does.
That’s the part worth paying attention to.
